      This was just submitted.

Joe, Local news 8 just posted on their website a list of the events taking place here in Southeast Idaho here: (http://www.localnews8.com/news/24072017/detail.html ).  I thought people might want to know what events were happening by day so they can plan the holiday more efficiently.  I’ve added a few that they missed (like the Pocatello fireworks show) and highlighted the ones that are most notable.  Thanks for the great website!

Thank YOU, Bob!   Readers, please share with us which events you’ll be attending, give your suggestions/reviews on the events listed, or add any events that might have been missed!

I have to laugh. It looks like the majority of the cities are doing fireworks on Saturday, but only Idaho Falls has it’s residence all twisted out of shape about it. LOL

Funny how no one complains about playing baseball on Sunday.

Who’s complained about doing anything on sunday? I haven’t heard anyone complain about that. All I’ve heard is people complaining about is when the city decides to hold events on Saturday for financial reasons, a few hundred people get all upset about it. show me the masses that are complaining about the 2nd fireworks show being held on Sunday? Seems to me like one group complains complains complains and the other seems to be pretty easy going and mostly accepts the rights of others to celebrate as they please.

The date is incorrect for Rigby’s festivities – the fireworks at Rigby Lake were last night, July 2nd. I was told by one of the organizers they always have it the night before the big fireworks in Idaho Falls: http://www.celebrationofliberty.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=13&Itemid=18
